Sports betting

In Sports betting bets are made on game events (e.g., goals, winning teams, etc.). Players interested in sports can connect their own interest with gambling. Often the players develop an overestimation of their own capabilities, since no certain prediction can be made on the course of the game and its result. For example, strong players or teams can be overestimated.
Since the Gambling Treaty has come into effect, sports betting may only be offered in Germany by Oddset or Toto, the national betting providers. A player pass is required to place sports bets.
